When we all thought that Barcelona was in its death throes, it emerged from the shadows leaving the competition agonizing in its wake!
That is right ladies and gentlemen! Barcelona did it again.
While it was believed that after its less-than-average performance during the summer of 2004 that it would be disbanded, Barcelona’s Captain Extraordinaire Francois Lemieux rolled up his sleeves and managed to pull his team out of the fire. Aided by his able Peruvian co-owner and right-hand man, Jorge Romaña, a world-class strategist when it comes to winning in the universal sport, Barcelona made it to the top, defeating Club Deportivo Cojutepeque, a team of feisty, young and athletic El Salvadoreans.
Although the winning goals were scored in the first 15 minutes of the match, it would be inaccurate to say that it was an easy victory. Club Cojutepeque was not about to take a defeat with “their arms crossed”. Their relentless attacks were foiled by superstar Patrick, a gentleman who has yet to be defeated in the 18-yard line. Honourable mention is truly deserved by all members who are posing in this photograph.
Again, congratulations!
